Description
Sliced is a very visual effect with playing cards.
Showing the card faces one by one, with the middle card being a different colour to the rest, then the backs are shown (pointing out the middle card also has a different coloured back to the others). Finally, each playing card is shown to have a hole cut out in the middle.
The magician now asks the spectator to help and pulls out the middle (Different coloured card) card by approx. a quarter of the way from the pack. The spectator is asked to put their finger up through the remaining cards from underneath. When the finger is in place through the hole in the cards, the magician pushes the protruding card magically through the spectators finger so that it lines up with the other cards. The top two cards are removed, showing, amazingly, the card has magically sliced through the finger and is left firmly on the spectators finger! Easy to do. This is visually stunning and will baffle and bemuse!!!
